Notch Living take the management of your property very seriously and as such have designed a report which is issued to you following our inspection visits.
Spot issues early!
The aim of our property inspection report is to assist you with early identification of maintenance issues which may need attention.
What areas of the home do we look at?
We use a detailed checklist to assist us when carrying out the visit. Access is required to the whole house to enable us to inspect:
Categorising Repairs
Our landlord properties are kept in good condition. This helps us attract the best tenants and ensure repair issues are kept to a minimum. However, if we spot any repair or maintenance issues that needs to be addressed we take a photographic schedule and categorise in the report as follows:
Tenancy Management
The visit also enables us to keep a close eye on how student tenants are looking after your property. Spotting issues early enables us to inform student tenants of any matters which may have an adverse impact on the likelihood of their deposit being returned.
Deposit Dispute
In addition to your inventory, our property inspection reports are a useful record of the condition of the property throughout the tenancy. We also keep accurate records of repair jobs, before and after photos and completion dates.
In the unlikely event there is a need to claim money from the deposit your property inspection reports can be relied upon and used as evidence to help prove the property condition at handover vs check out.
